It is the perfect outfit for a Disney trip, but I would accessorize it with Mini Mouse ears because I’m extra haha. XO-Lascena Lee
We are in the process of restoring our Historic 118 year old Victorian home. Hurricane Harvey came roaring through our small South Texas town last summer. I can’t describe to y’all just how much this house really means to me. Growing up we moved often, so as a little girl one of my BIGGEST goals & dreams was to own a home. I am one of the first in my family to be blessed to own a home. If you check out my Lifestyle tab I have the cutest & sweetest video of my husband talking about how we ended up planting our roots here. It was such an accomplishment when we purchased our charming home & literally meant everything to me. I wanted a home our children could come home to for Christmas even after they are all grown up & married. I wanted to be in a sweet neighborhood where your neighbors become family. We break bread together at dinner tables & let us borrow sugar anytime we need it. I got all that & more. When I found out a cat 4 hurricane was coming straight for us I was devastated. I thought to myself this house & community can withstand the storm. I mean it had to it was everything we have worked for. It was one of the reasons I put myself through college. It was why my husband wakes up at 5am and commutes 120 miles everyday. Well, this old house of ours took it like a champ. Our community cleaned up & rebuilt slowly, but surely. Neighbors helped chainsaw massive trees with roots deeper than our historic downtown square. Strangers saved strangers lives in boats off of roof tops and cars. People gathered to rip out sheetrock from homes that had 6ft+ deep water in it. People donated anything and everything from everywhere you could possibly think of. You see, you can’t prepare yourself to lose literally everything you have worked for, but I tried to withhold my grace, faith, & strength while experiencing a surreal life experience. The Lord would never take something away without restoring more than we could ever image. My heart is still with the people without homes & the businesses that didn’t survive. Be kind to one another, smile at a stranger, love your neighbor, do small acts of kindness, & have faith in God’s plans. I will continue our story about Hurricane Harvey & restoring our home. I hope y’all enjoy the journey with me. They have been prepping our home for 5 weeks now. Our home was built in 1900 & was originally all white. I am trying to decide our patio color & would love for y’alls feedback. You can shop this adorable & affordable look. It is super comfy, baby bump friendly, & are screaming summer time midi looks. I love my yellow gingham co ords skirt set because I can get multiple looks out of it. Mixing up patterns is my thing, so when I bought this cute set I decided to grab this super cute button-down lemon top, too. I mean who doesn’t love polka-dots, lemons, & gingham patterns all teamed up? Should I paint our porch GRAY or YELLOW is the question? Y’all help me decide pretty please! Shop this look by clicking below. Make sure to be following my stories and keep an eye out for my Victorian Home post. I will be sharing details from the paint colors we chose to the finished product. I think I will cry once this beauty is complete. Xoxo-Lascena Lee

I mean who defined perfection anyways? Remember to love yourself & embrace who you are…every single little flaw. This outfit gives me a bang for my buck because I can mix & match each piece with multiple things I have in my closet to provide different looks throughout the week. My feeling bubbly button-down has been a life saver many times. I am obsessed with these white jeans because they are stretchy & a must have for summer time. I do not like jeans to be tight on my tummy at ALL, so this is why these are one of my absolute favorite brands. I linked in my straw bag, wedges, floral scarf, earrings, GG belt, & my “deeply in love” sunnies. If you are wanting the perfect bag for summer time, I linked in some super trendy straw ones. XO- Lascena Lee

I am so thankful for a new clean slate today. XO- Lascena Lee
I hope y’all adore the Mother’s day gifts I linked in. I absolutely love my mom. I am so thankful for her & blessed to be able to celebrate her on this special day. She has taught me to be the independent, determined, strong, & kind women I am today. She has been eyeing my gorgeous floral teapot for a while, so I decided it would be the perfect gift for her. I am surprised she hasn’t stolen mine already. Happy Mother’s day to all you boss babes out there. You are all truly amazing & deserve to be celebrated everyday. Just simply scroll and click below. This comfy, midi, off-the-shoulder silhouette, belle sleeved dress is EVERYTHING. It is so flattering on. It comes in 2 colors and is perfect for many types of events from baby showers to Kentucky Derby get togethers. P.S.- It is a fabulous mama to be dress. It’s perfect for baby bumps, due to the stretchy material and midi hemline. I paired it with a vibrant fedora hat & bright baublebar earrings for a fun fiesta look. Xo- Lacsena Lee
This mini white dress has charming vibes all over it from the bow to the lace sleeves it has me ready to sip some sweet tea.
